Our Retreat at Kamakhya will be a life time experience, this immersive retreat will change your perception of about life, deepening your knowledge about ancient mystical practises that are still aliove and thriving, this is a truly special place we are honoured to be hosting our first retreat.
Designed for both beginners and established practitioners on the spiritual path, we welcome those new to Kundalini Yoga and Tantra. This immersive retreat is a unique opportunity to immerse in guided practice by a Yogi, Avdhoot Aditya, taking place at Kamakhya Temple. This temple is the most revered Shakti Peetha and one of the holiest sites dedicated to the worship of Devi, this is the place of worship of the Universal Mother and her Yoni, the divine form of creation embodied.
Perched atop Nilachal Hill in Guwahati, Assam, Kamakhya is surrounded by lush subtropical forests, powerful rivers, and a landscape long associated with tantric practice and goddess worship. The region carries a living spiritual culture where ritual, devotion, and daily life are deeply intertwined.
This retreat is dedicated to deepening both professional and personal development. The course combines daily practical Kundalini Yoga, pranayama (breathwork), the science of mantra chanting, meditation, mudra techniques and tantric philosophy, balancing both mental and physical training.
The experience will be highly immersive, making full use of being in this sacred place. We will visit the main Kamakhya Temple daily, along with surrounding power sites including the ten shrines of the Das Mahavidyas, the tantric forms of the Goddess. Participants will have the opportunity to meet local sadhus and practitioners with whom we have built long-standing relationships. A traditional yajna (fire ceremony) will be conducted by a local tantric priest, offering a powerful experience of purification, intention-setting, and energy activation.
Wherever you are on your spiritual journey, this retreat seeks to uplift and support you through authentic practice, guided by Aditya. Participants will cultivate awareness, self-inquiry, and a deeper spiritual connection while learning the foundations of Kundalini and Tantra in their living, embodied form.
Following the retreat, we will host monthly online satsangs to remain connected and continue the teachings. Our intention is to move beyond commercial yoga and to co-create an authentic, supportive community of sincere seekers.
