About ŚRĪ MĀ

Intricate gold-colored religious carvings with deities and mythical figures, including a central multi-armed goddess, surrounded by detailed floral and mythological decorations.

Sri Ma is a grassroots organization dedicated to the teaching of traditional yoga, tantra and philosophy. Our aim is to cultivate cross-cultural exchange between East and West, sharing authentic yogic teachings to spiritual seekers with humility and respect.

Sri Ma is named after Shakti, The great Mother or Divine Feminine energy. Our aim is to to embrace Mother nature our Mother Earth and bring people together.

We aspire to make the world a more compassionate and connected place through our collective efforts. We do not profess to be spiritual masters, but we are fellow seekers who have a little something to share with one another.

We are building a global community of people drawn to the spiritual path and the wisdom it offers. Whilst we are based in India, we welcome everyone from across the world to share experience, co-creating a non-judgmental space where we can support each other on this path of self discovery.

In this work we hope to honour the Divine Goddess and our Mother Earth.

Born and raised in India and Nepal, Aditya has spent the past 12 years following the traditions of Himalayan Yogis. Since childhood, his interest has consistently been in exploring the relationship between the body and the soul, and in understanding the source of pain -Physical, Mental and spiritual.

Following this enquiry, his early years were dedicated to studying martial arts across various disciplines, eventually leading him to specialise in yoga therapy and alternative medicine at Bangalore University. He began his professional career in a Holistic hospital, later developing an international teaching practice in yoga and breathwork having delivered courses in China, Indonesia and Europe.

In 2014, Aditya undertook a radical shift, beginning life in an ashram in Varanasi before travelling north to the mountains. There, he studied under gurus from various lineages, cultivating an eclectic understanding drawn from diverse traditions within Sanatan Dharma. It was through the guidance of revered traditional yogis that he came to understand the roots of human suffering. Since then, he has never looked back.

In recent years, his focus has turned towards building a community of seekers where, as both a spiritual mentor and a friend, he shares his dynamic energy and the insights gathered through his ongoing spiritual journey.

Jacob Timms is a Salford-born artist (b. 1993) whose work explores landscape, divinity, human experience, and the environment. Growing up in a post-industrial northern city, he developed a deep yearning for connection with nature. His interest in culture and history led him to explore diverse spiritual traditions and to reflect on what has been lost in modern Britain, particularly ancestral nature-based practices. This inquiry has shaped his spiritual path for over 16 years and continues to inform his artistic practice.

His work is intimate and grounded in direct engagement with place, capturing the textures and traces of lived environments while articulating subtle, intangible dimensions beyond physical form. Through this, he explores ecology, our evolving relationship with the natural world, and the fragility of these connections in the Anthropocene.

Alongside his artistic practice, Jacob works as a Creative Director in the arts sector, securing funding for community-focused projects across Manchester that prioritise accessibility and supporting artists through development and mentorship. In 2024, he began embodied research in India, living with sadhus and deepening his spiritual practice. He has since taken spiritual initiation from his guru and given the name Jaya Ram Das..

Born in Hannover, Germany Janine has always been driven by a deep curiosity for understanding the human body and the deeper layers of healing.

Her journey began with her training as a Naturopath, where she studied classical homoeopathy and osteopathy, driven by a desire not just to treat symptoms but to truly understand how the body functions and heals.

Over time, she continued her professional development into the realms of Integrative Psychotherapy and various energetic methods, including training at the Barbara Brennan School of Healing, integrating emotional, energetic, and spiritual dimensions into her work.

Her approach today blends classical natural healing methods with deep-body therapies and consciousness work. This holistic philosophy aligns with the mission of her practice, which emphasizes balance between body, mind, and soul, and offers a space where clients can gain deeper insight into the roots of their symptoms.
