KUMBH MELA-HARIDWAR 2027
The Kumbh Mela is not only the largest human gathering festival in the world, but also the largest spiritual festival, with origins that stretch back thousands of years. The mela is a sacred convergence where traditional yogis, tantrics, saints and siddhas from many lineages and schools within Sanatan Dharma come together. Hindus, Buddhists, Sikhs and Jains, alongside pilgrims from across India and around the world, gather to unite, raise human consciousness, and reflect on the social and spiritual issues concerning today.
In February 2027, the next Kumbh Mela will take place in Haridwar. We are delighted to be working alongside Nath Ashram and international partners to create a welcoming opportunity for Western visitors. Our aim is to provide a safe, respectful and supportive space where participants can connect with the depth of knowledge available, meet sadhus with humility and awareness, and experience divinity.
We are thrilled to announce that we have secured our plot of land, and planning for the camp is already underway. The camp will centre its message on cultural preservation and ecology, honouring ancient traditions while remaining conscious of our responsibility to the land.
Each day will include sacred practices such as yajna (fire ceremonies), yoga, meditation, kirtan (devotional singing), Arti and Satsangs. These offerings are designed to create a living, embodied experience of the spiritual heart of the Kumbh Mela.
We warmly welcome those who wish to join us, to stay, connect with like minded seekers, and explore the wisdom of the East.
Join us to preserve tradition, deepen your practice, and embrace your inner wisdom.
