Greetings from Arunachala

The Avdhoot teachings of Adi Guru Dattatreya and Sri Ramana Maharishi. For the past few weeks we have been staying by the Holy Mountain of Arunachala, most notably where the Saint Sri Ramana Maharishi resided for the majority of his life siting the Mountain to be his Guru. Non different to lord Shiva, Arunachala has a calming presence, and it is said that even by remembering the form of Arunachala one can Attain Liberation.

In our late post, Jaya Ram Das talks about how In the Scottish Highlands he met the remarkable Michael James who infact lived in Arunachala for 20 years, it was this meeting that led us here. He was kind enough to introduce to us a Sadhu who has been residing here for the past 16 years. it was in conversation with him that we realised the similarities in the teachings of Bhagavan Ramana and the Adi Guru Dattatreya, the ultimate Avdhoot.
